When it comes to the Hip Hop scene I decided to take a listen to a couple of artists in Japan to see who’s on fire right now. One in particular who caught my attention quick was YENTOWN artist PETZ, first song i listened to was “BRO” prod. by Star Boy & Chaki Zulu. It has that mainstream sound of todays Hip Hop, Trap music and autotune. Although lyrics are in Japanese you can hear this kid got flow and star quality. It comes to no surprise that Hip Hop is global the culture is alive and well, it is always good to see how its impact affects people from all over the world. I’ve had the chance to go to Tokyo and what i can tell you is there Hip Hop clubs are Lit, from old school to new school Japan is for sure in touch with the vibes.
